Skeleton Key

Strategy Summary

A synthesised one-page executive brief produced after all four strategists complete.

Strategy Summary is not a fifth strategist. It is a separate synthesis output that runs after Goals, Audience, Comms, and Media all complete. A single agent reads all four strategist outputs together and produces a one-page strategic brief that ties them into a coherent view: one document you can hand to a director, brief a creative partner from, or use as the anchor reference for a campaign launch.

What it does

The summary document has two main sections.

Strategic Framework — an executive header block: Core Idea (1-2 sentences), Key Insights (3 bullets), Strategic Choices (3 bullets across Goals/Audience/Comms/Media), and an Alignment Snapshot table mapping pillars to personas and Key Results.

Main Content — six sections in fixed order: Strategic Integration (how the four strategists connect), Outcomes and Key Results (Objective + KR table), Audience Personas (persona strategy table), Communication Strategy (messaging pillars table plus angle bullets), Media Strategy (channel mix, flighting, and risks), and Implementation Roadmap (campaign timeline and decision-points flowcharts).

The document carries 10-15 consolidated citations. Diagrams export to PDF, Word, and Markdown; see Exports & sharing for format-specific details.

Where to find it

Navigate to Strategy inside any brand or campaign. After all four strategist tabs finish, a "Generating Summary" card appears. Generation takes 2-3 minutes. Once ready, the card shows a "Ready" indicator and a "View Summary" button that opens a modal with the full document. Copy and export (PDF, Word, Markdown) are available in the modal toolbar.

How it works

The agent receives all four strategist outputs, the brand profile, campaign context, and strategic focus from Goals. It prioritises the upstream outputs and does not invent operational detail beyond what they contain. If a strategist deferred tactical specifics to Planning, the summary reflects that gap rather than filling it.

Total time from starting a Strategy run to summary ready is roughly 12-15 minutes: 10-12 for the four strategists, 2-3 for the summary.

What you can adjust

Upstream strategist quality — The summary's output reflects whatever Goals, Audience, Comms, and Media produced. Run each strategist tab individually, review the output, and refine any that are off before the summary generates.

Refine — Strategy Summary does not have its own refine trigger. To regenerate the summary, refine one or more of the four upstream strategists. The summary re-runs against the new versions automatically. Prior summary versions remain in history. See Refine.

Limits and known issues

  • Output quality is bounded by upstream quality. If any of the four strategists is off, the summary inherits those gaps. Validate Goals, Audience, Comms, and Media individually before relying on the summary as a standalone brief.
  • No invented tactical detail. The summary synthesises what the strategists produced. It does not create execution specifics (timings, bid strategies, copy variants) that belong to downstream phases.
  • Beta software. Outputs are not infallible. Treat the summary as a working draft and validate its strategic claims with your team before sharing externally.
